Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our team, specializing in Cash Cow YouTube channels. As a video editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage and scripts into engaging, high-quality videos that capture and retain viewers’ attention. You will work closely with scriptwriters, voice-over artists, and project managers to ensure each video is optimized for YouTube and fits the style and tone of the niche.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble video content for YouTube Cash Cow channels (i.e., channels designed for passive income through YouTube monetization).
- Add animations, graphics, and effects to enhance viewer engagement and create a visually appealing experience.
- Sync voice-overs with visuals, ensuring smooth transitions and proper pacing.
- Ensure videos adhere to the established tone, pacing, and style of the channel.
- Optimize videos for YouTube by implementing best practices for length, format, and resolution.
- Work closely with the creative team to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions.
- Stay updated on YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and content best practices to ensure maximum audience retention and engagement.
- Maintain a fast turnaround time while managing multiple projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a video editor, preferably for Cash Cow or similar YouTube channels.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effect, etc.).
- Strong understanding of YouTube content strategies, including SEO, audience retention, and monetization.
- Ability to create engaging, fast-paced content that holds the viewer’s attention.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, and sound design.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with different YouTube niches (e.g., finance, lifestyle, entertainment) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working specifically on YouTube Cash Cow channels
Strong portfolio showcasing your editing work in Cash Cow or similar video niches
